“Life has created a form by which it may know itself, and that form is you.”
About Rebekah
I’m a dedicated yoga student, CYT Level 3 with American Yoga Council, teacher trainer, and co-founder of Upaya School of Yoga with over 15 years of yoga experience, a decade of which I’ve spent teaching.
Through yoga asana, meditation, pranayama, and philosophical studies my intention is to offer you the tools to empower your practice, to recognize your innate radiance, and to inspire you to explore the inner and outer landscape with presence and wonder.
After beginning my yoga studies in the Anusara lineage, I now consider myself a yoga mutt. I’m grateful to continue my studies with teachers like Jason Crandell, Rod Stryker, Tiffany Cruikshank, Darren Rhodes, and many others.
My history, philosophy, and spiritual teachers include Christopher Wallis, Douglas Brooks, and the faculty of OCHS and Yogic Studies, who continue to shape and expand my practice and teaching on and off the mat.
"For many years I mistook discipline as ambition. Now I believe it to be more about consistency. Do get on the mat. Practice and life are not that different." — Judith Hanson Lasater
